Oreo Cookie MilkShake Recipe

Do you love those Oreo cookie shakes that you can get at a fast food chains or restaurants? I do! But they can be pricey to get everyone in the family one. Making your own can cost you a fraction of the cost and calories! Those milkshakes at restaurants are also loaded with thousands of calories. I know one restaurant in particular that has about 2,000- 3,000 calories per milkshake!

Here is a delicious and super easy Oreo Cookie Milkshake recipe.

What you'll need:
  • Oreo cookies
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Half and half or heavy cream
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Chocolate Syrup (optional)
  • Blender
For a lower calorie milkshake opt to use low sugar or fat free ice cream, chocolate syrup, whip cream or milk.

In your blender add about a cup of ice cream, 2 oz of half and half and blend until well mixed and smooth. You may need to add a little more half and half depending on your blender or how much ice cream you decided to use. Once well mixed add about 2-3 broken up Oreo cookies and blend for another 5-10 seconds depending on your blender and how chunky you want your shake to be. Less time if you want big chunks of Oreo's and more time if you want smaller pieces. Top with Whip cream, chocolate syrup and Oreo Pieces.

Enjoy!
