Are you crafty? Do your kids like to do arts and crafts? My daughter loves arts and crafts and I love to see her express her creativity in her artwork. I've also been known to craft up a few things. I like to work with paper crafts such as card making and scrapbooking. I remember when I was younger my mother had us doing crafty projects at home and I think it just grew on me. So when I had my own kids, it was only natural for me to introduce crafting to them. I've been a JLO fan since her first hit single "If you had my love". I was a freshman in high school when her first single and album, "On the 6" was released. I can't believe that was about 13 years ago and I currently have those songs on my ipod playlist. This adorable Nuby cup is part of the iMonster feeding set that I've recently fallen in love with. This cup is not only cute but practical as well. I've tried other "Leak Free/ Spill Proof" cups in the past and none of them lived up to their claim. I ended up with milk and juice spots all over my carpet or with a wet little one because it leaked all over them.

House rules
we have many rules in our home but one important one that helps avoid stress is were they are allowed to make a mess. Toys stay in their room. They are allowed to bring toys into the living room but once they are done using them they must go back into their room. This helps me keep a clean house and I don't stress about having a messy house because of these rules. My home is often very clean but please don't look inside their room because thats a different story.
Give them time and relax
I've seen so many parents stress about their children's milestones by just days and weeks. One 3 week old maybe doing something while your 3 week old isn't just there yet. I've seen so many parents stress about this. Not every child is going to follow those text book stats and expectations. Just give them more time and I'm sure they'll get there and most of the time they do. What's a week or 2 compared to a lifetime? My son took more time to reach certain milestones than my daughter did but I never worried about it because I knew he'll get there eventually. When my daughter was a baby my mother-in-law said something that has since stuck with me and that is "If she's 30 and still on the bottle then we'll worry about it" She didn't mean it literally but I understood what she meant.
Time for yourself
It's very important that you make time for yourself and don't feel guilty about it. I know for a lot of us it's hard to do. I can't even use the bathroom by myself sometimes! Try to find something for you to do like reading, crafting, or writing.
Let them be
They're just kids let them be kids and don't let them acting like kids stress you out. They grow up so quickly. Stop, look, listen and pay attention to what they're doing because they're only that age once.
