The WannaBeWell app is a new app from Life...supplemented that motivates, educates and activates those who are in search of a healthier lifestyle or for those who live a healthy life style with good diet and exercise. The WannaBeWell app is used as a tool to help people commit to their diet and exercise routines by offering tips, reminders and healthy inspirations to stay organized and focused during their busy lifestyles.

When you open the app for the first time you'll be asked to select a Wellness Coach who will deliver daily motivational and educational messages. You will receive a ‘Healthy Mission’ tasks given by the Wellness Coach and collect trophies for accomplishing the tasks. You do have the option to take a "Tour" while getting everything set up just in case you get confused about something. From your home screen you'll be able to access your coach, trophies, reminders and other tools. The blog provides a forum around healthy diet, supplements and exercise from an expert panel of bloggers to help users make an informed dietary decision.


For each app download, a $1 donation (up to 13,500) will be made to Vitamin Angels. This charitable organization reduces child mortality worldwide by connecting infants and children under five with vital nutrients.

Do you like to share photos or experiences of your children online for family and friends to see? Or maybe you like posting those funny stories about the funny but often embarrassing things that your children say. I do a lot of sharing on my social media accounts about Emma Lee and Maddox. Most of my family don't live near us with the exception of my parents. Most of my family and friends are back home in California, some in Mexico and other parts of the US and most of Trey's family live 5 hours north of us in Dallas.

I'm always posting photos of the kids on my facebook along with sharing stories about their milestones because I know members of my family enjoy seeing their photos and hearing what the kids are up to. I don't do it to show them off because they are just simply adorable but I do it because my family and close friends love to watch them grow. If it weren't for online photo sharing , they would be missing out on what's going on with them.

Lifeables is a new and free service that allows parents to collect all the special moments using pictures, videos and social post, that they can use to tell the larger story of a child's life. You can sync up your social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to pull photos and info you share about your children to help create a story boad. Once created, you can keep your child's story private or easily share it with family members and friends.

Maddox recently received a pair of leather customized shoes from Kids N Caboodle and they are adorable. Becoming a parent is very exciting and intimidating event in our lives. Whether it's your first time, 2nd time or even for those starting all over again after many years and had considered themselves "Done" with having more babies. I've known and know of a few couples that unintentionally added  another baby to the family, a couple I knew had their youngest in high school and the older children in college. Ekk! The funny thing about that, is that they seem much more nervous than first time parents. Possibly because they know what their getting themselves into all over again.

I was looking forward to working with my co-creator of Emma Lee and Maddox on this campaign for Huggies Latino. I was excited and had my questions planned and I was ready to take notes. Well the task proved to be more complicated than anticipated with his one worded answers, but I guess that's a guy for ya!

How do you handle parenting messes?
Haha.

Fine. Moving on, What do you wish you had known?
I was unaware of the variety of options we had when it came to basic necessities. So many different options when it came to things like diapers, wipes, bottles, etc. By the time your second baby comes along you know what to buy and not to buy and what works best for your family.

Were you nervous about your first diaper change?
No. I wasn't nervous because I knew it was something I would have to do

Do you mind changing diapers?
It's fine. No big deal

Unforgettable moment?
The first year Emma Lee sang Happy Birthday to me.

Most challenging moment?
Having differences with your partner. No matter who you are or how close you two are, you're going to have differences and disagree on somethings.

How do you overcome that? 
Think about what's best for your children and be understanding to your partners ideas.

Coming from a family of only boys, I knew you wanted a boy and you were nervous when we found out our first was a girl. Why?
I worried that I wouldn't be able to connect with a little girl like I would a boy because of different interest but you have a love for her that you didn't expect to have. I always heard that fathers and daughters have a strong special bond but I didn't realize how true that was until Emma Lee was born.

How do you soothe a crying baby?
Pick them up and hold them, bounce them a litte and pat their backs while shhhh-ing them.

Do you enjoy fatherhood?
Yes.

We love Leapfrog! My daughter loves her Tag Reader, Maddox enjoys his LeapFrog Learning Table, and those are just a few of our LeapFrog toys in the house. We were very excited to try out their new Touch Magic products. We received 2 Touch Magic Rockin' Guitars and a Touch Magic Learning Bus. We invited a few of our friends over for a LeapFrog party and had a great time rockin' out.


It was no surprised the kids enjoyed playing with the Rockin' Guitar and Learning Bus. Both items were suitable for their ages. My 15 month old Maddox loves playing with the guitar, he walks around the house wearing the guitar around his neck and randomly playing it. My 4 year old just started preschool and likes learning more about the alphabet using the Learning Bus.



The mom's at the party liked the touch and feel of the toys. They're thin and light weight and do not have any push buttons that can either get stuck when something icky may come in contact with the toy or pop out. My favorite feature is that they are light weight because I've been accidentally hit with a toy one too many times. Similar toys such as these from my childhood were bulky and heavy and often would break because a button came loss or popped out of its socket.
