2-in-1 Shop & Cook Playset from Vtech. A Fun and Educational Toy.

The kid's recently received a fun and educational toy from Vtech. The 2-in-1 Shop & Cook Playset transforms from a shopping cart into a kitchen with fun songs and sounds effects. Maddox is learning colors, numbers and foods while he plays. The playset is suitable for children 2-5 years. My 5 year-old Emma Lee also loves playing with the cart. She knows all her colors and numbers but she loves the cooking sound effects.

Awesome Mommy Bag's from Ju-Ju-Be

A few weeks ago I was sent the most amazing Diaper Bag or Mommy Bag The "Be Right Back" bag from Ju-Ju-Be is my favorite item I currently own. I absolutely love it and I'm always getting compliments from other mom's on how cute and functional it is. It's a great bag if you have infants or older children, it has a bunch of pockets and spaces to put everything you need for an overnight trip or an amusement park outing.

DIY Organization with Command

Recently Command sent me a variety of their awesome Command Damage-Free Hanging Hooks, products I love and use in my home already. I was in big need of these hooks because the apartment was needing some DIY organization projects, too many things and little space. I have several hooks hanging up in the apartment that have been up for a little over a year and they're still holding on strong.

Wubbzy Y El Tren Loco! A Fun Bilingual App For Wubbzy Fans.

{This is part of a sponsored campaign with Latina Mom Bloggers and Cupcake Digital. However, all opinions expressed are my own.}

One of the kid's favorite Nick Jr. characters is Wubbzy from Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!. We had downloaded Wubbzy's Train Adventure app on the iPad a few months ago and the kid's love playing with the app. The app features games and a "Read to me" option. Now the app comes in a Spanish version. It's a great program for those who want to teach their children Spanish or are Spanish speakers. If you're trying to teach your children Spanish or trying to keep the Spanish language alive in your household, the app makes playing and reading in Spanish fun.

Parenting Challenges And Huggies

{This is part of a compensated campaign with Latina Mom Bloggers and Huggies. However, all opinions expressed are my own.}

My most recent parenting challenge was when I had to leave the kids last week for a few days to attend a conference in New York city. Even though I was excited to take a trip to NYC, somewhere I've always wanted to go, I was still very nervous about leaving them. I work from home so the kids and Trey are use to me being here everyday and handling everything that goes on in our home.

Baked Potato Casserole

Casserole dishes are always a crowd favorite. It's because they can consist of anything and everything, just take your favorite ingredients and throw them in a dish. They are so easy that even I can make them, and that's saying something.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Latino American's

{This is part of a compensated campaign with Latina Mom Bloggers and Ford. However, all opinions expressed are my own.}

Hispanic Heritage Month is finally upon us, and what better way to celebrate than by watching LATINO AMERICANS with your family!

LATINO AMERICANS is a three-part, six-hour series will document the history and experiences of Latinos, who have helped to shape North America over the last 500 years. It is a story of immigration and renovation, and the anguish and celebration that Hispanics have faced to achieve a better life for themselves and their families. LATINO AMERICANS will feature interviews with Puerto Rican star of West Side Story, Rita Moreno; Mexican-American author and commentator Linda Chavez, who also became the highest ranking woman in the Reagan White House; and Cuban singer and entrepreneur Gloria Estefan.

As a Latina who was born and raised here in America, I often run into the challenge of keeping the Spanish language and culture alive in my family. I know that this something most of us Latina's deal with on a regular basis because we want our children to be bilingual and bi-cultural.

Chicken Parmesan

{This is a sponsored post for Collective Bias and Tyson. All opinions are of my own}

Last week I shopped at Sam's Club to check out some of their meal demos for quick and easy meal ideas. Shopping for item's in bulk not only saves money in the long run but saves time as well. Now that school is back in session I have busy afternoon's and evenings, my afternoon's involve picking up Emma Lee from school, making her an after school snack, homework in the evening and getting things ready for the following day. I like to look for meals that are quick, easy and delicious and if I can make less trips to the grocery store, even better. I purchased a bag of Tyson's Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Breast Patties, Hunt's Tomato Sauce, and Daily Chef Spaghetti for my Chicken Parmesan recipe.

Everything I purchased was in bulk, it's a lot of food but they're ingredients I can use in many recipes.The kids love all three item's, together or separate. I love having plenty of these item's in the house, they make for a quick meal whenever I need to create a quick meal for the family.

Ingredients:
  • 6 Tyson's Fully Cooked Chicken Breast Patties
  • 1 lb. Daily Chef Spaghetti
  • 1 1/2 cup Hunt's Tomato Sauce
  • 3/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 6 Tbsp. Grated Parmesan Cheese
  1. Prepare spaghetti and chicken patties as directed on the package.
  2. Place cooked spaghettie in a baking dish, top with 1 cup of tomato sauce, chicken patties and cheese.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for about 5 minutes, until cheese is melted.
Optional: top with basil, Italian seasoning or other spices to help add flavor.

I encourage you to stop by your local Sam's Club to check out there live demos for quick and easy meal ideas.

Ralph Lauren Fall & Holiday Fashion Trends For Little Fashionistas's

{This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Ralph Lauren.}

Fall fashion trends are on the mind of fashionistas, both big and small. It's almost time for sweaters, coats and boots and accessories like hat's and scarves. Not only am I excited for these fall trends so is my mini fashionista, Emma Lee. Her favorite trend for this fall is printed and colorful skinny jeans, she loves them and has multiple pairs.

Ralph Lauren has partnered with Elizabeth Street to spread the word about their fall and winter children’s collections and the “Day at the Stables” fashion show that was held on August 5, 2013 in Sagaponack, New York.

The fall ’13 collection starts out with a rich combination of colorful iconic clothing perfect for back to school. It then follows with rich romantic florals and classic 1930′s menswear clothing, modernized for today’s fashionista with a backdrop reminiscent of classic Downton Abbey

I'm so loving all these fall and winter styles for girls. I saw a lot of earthy colors and fabric blends and plaid! When fall and winter come along, I absolutely fall back in love with plaid especially the holiday plaid prints with the reds, greens and gold. The three big trends that  I noticed in this season's collection were bright colors, skinny jeans and layers.

RALPH LAUREN Girls Fall 2013 Fashion Show

I also noticed lots of bright colors like yellow and orange within the collection which is something most people wouldn't think of when selecting colors for their fall wardrobe but I loved all the bright colors. They looked great along side the earthy tones and tweeds.

Skinny jeans in all colors and prints are definitely in this fall and holiday season for all fashionista. They are so easy to dress up or down and can be worn with almost everything.

So what's in this fall and holiday season for big and mini fashionista's? Bright colors, skinny jeans and layers!

The Ralph Lauren Girls Runway Show is launching on September 5th on RalphLauren.com, along with exclusive video featuring Madison Beer’s first ever live performance

Ralph Lauren offers a world of luxury and comfort in men, women’s and children’s clothing. For the Ralph Lauren children’s fall collection, the clothing line hosted a “Day at the Stables” fashion show that incorporated many facets of the Ralph Lauren lifestyle.
