We love cooking and eating Italian dishes in our home. Ragú® Sauce and noodles are a big hit at the dinner table. With all the different savory flavors of Ragú® Sauce to select from, you can easily get creative with your dish. As busy parents, we don't always have extra time in our day to get creative or fancy with our mediocre chef skills in the kitchen ... yes, I'm totally talking about my skills. And for that reason, I use different flavors of Ragú® Sauce in my Italian recipes so that the family gets the opportunity to try new dishes and flavors.

Did you know that one Latina dies of breast cancer every 90 minutes? The statistics are alarming. For this reason, Orgullosa has teamed up with Liga Contra el Cancer, a center dedicated to providing free cancer services for underserved patients to spark the conversation (#OrgullosaStrong) with Latinas about the importance of supporting one another in the early detection of breast cancer.


For the month of October, Orgullosa would like to rally the Latina community to show that Together We Are Stronger by giving the gift of early detection to those in need by liking the Orgullosa Facebook page as that triggers an automatic $1 donation, for every like received, to Liga Contra el Cancer.

During Hispanic Heritage month, I try to find ways to teach and educate my children and I about our culture. My family and I celebrate and live our Hispanic culture everyday of the year because we are proud of who we are but I believe that Hispanic Heritage month is a great time to teach and learn about what makes us who we are and who we will become. Like many Hispanics, we love celebrating with food! A family favorite dish in our family is Carne Asada, which is marinated meat soaked with flavor then grilled, it's very tender and juicy. Carne asada can be served along side some of your favorite side-dishes or served up as tacos.

Some of my favorite family recipes originated in my grandmother and great grandmother’s kitchens. The stories behind the recipes are cherished moments that I will pass on to my children. As a Soy Connection Ambassador, I encourage you to keep memories and cooking traditions alive by recording your stories and sharing them with us.

My favorite time of the year has arrived and with the Autumn season comes some of my favorite scents! The smell of pumpkin, apple cinnamon and vanilla are some of my favorite aromas during the fall. I love those scents in my home because they always bring back such fond memories from past autumn seasons. Walking into your home with the smell of fresh baked pumpkin desserts is simply the best. I also love walking down the candle and fragrance aisle during this time. Those two things always smell amazing.
