Quick, Easy & Healthy Meal's with Tyson Chicken

I'm always looking for quick, easy and healthy meal's for my family. I really don't know how to cook too many dishes so I aim for the simple route when it comes to preparing meals. I try to keep things healthy but sometimes when you don't make things from scratch, meals don't always turn out so healthy. I've recently discovered Tyson's chicken, the ready made kind. We buy bags of the ready grilled and pair them up with veggies or other simple to make side dishes like mac & cheese or rice. Today we tried a different kind of Tyson's chicken, I bought the New Tyson Crispier Breaded Chicken Filets.

In my opinion Tyson's fully cooked chicken options are very simple to use for all sorts of meals. It could be paired with a large variety of sides, chopped up and thrown on top of some salad or can be used to make a delicious chicken sandwich. Tonight for dinner I will be paring up the chicken with a few easy side dishes.

For dinner tonight I will pairing Tyson Chicken Breast Filets with a bag of steamed potatoes and veggies, steamed brown rice and corn bread. I had a large list of possible side dishes that were quick and easy. There are many flavors and varieties of frozen vegetable's, mac & cheese, canned corn or peas, mashed potatoes and so much more.

The corn bread took 30 minutes to bake so I started on that first. Once the corn bread was out of the oven I started on the rice and chicken. I placed the chicken on a baking sheet and put it in the oven for 20 minutes and the rice in my rice cooker which took about 20 minutes as well. The last thing to prepare was the steamed vegestable, I placed the steam bag in the microwave for 7 minutes.

Total time was about 20 minutes for the main course not including the time it took to bake the corn bread. I paid $11.45 for everything and could feed 4-5 people. That's a little under $3 a person!
