The Amazing And Sleek LG Optimus G From Sprint

The LG Optimus G from Sprint is Awesome! I love it. I've had this phone for 2 weeks and I don't want to give it back. With its large bright screen and many apps & widgets, it's a must have for any social media addict or for those wanting to stay organized. The phone comes in a slim and sleek design. The Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) software comes with a variety of widgets and several different ways to customized your phone just the way you want it. Navigating and sliding between screens is a breeze, it's like you're gliding between apps.

The 13MP camera and zoom allows you to capture big, clear and bright pictures. Perfect for snapping those adorable moments and sending them to family or sharing them on Facebook or Instagram.

All the applications and widgets on the phone can be very overwhelming at first but the phone is very user friendly. My preschooler and 18 month old had fun playing some of the games and navigating through screens.

With the LG Optimus G you are able to have multiple home screens and each screen can be completely customized to your liking and needs. A home screen can contain a mix of widgets and apps. The same widgets and apps can be added to several home screens if you choose.

This picture is a screen shot of one of my home screens. I've added a few game apps and social media apps. The widget at the bottom is one of the twitter widgets you select from. The twitter widget displays the most recent tweet and gives you the option to reply with a single touch, no need to open the app. For someone that is connected to social media and is constantly checking twitter, this is an awesome widget.

On my main home screen I have the weather widget displayed along with some of my most commonly used apps. The Weather app is a great app to have on your main screen, time, date and weather all there at a glance, and it's interactive! The 5 apps at the bottom will remain there while you toggle between screens.

Click on the (+) sign on the upper right corner to add more apps or widgets and simply hold the app and drag to it to the top to remove.

The very top of the home screen is the status bar that displays battery life, signal strength and notifications. You can slide the status bar down to view all notifications on one screen and to access other applications such as quick memo, sound, Wi-Fi and GPS. The Applications in the status bar can be changed to your needs.

The Quick Memo feature in the status bar is a really neat application. The Quick Memo app allows you to take a screen shot of anything displayed on your phone by pressing both the up and down volume buttons and writing on your screen shot. Write messages or doodle on your pictures before texting them or posting them on facebook. It also allows you to take down quick notes on a blank page.

The LG Optimus G is an awesome phone and I have fallen in love with it. I've had it for 2 weeks and I feel like there is still so much to learn and explore. The more you explore and learn the better your experience with the phone will be.

Disclosure: The LG Optimus G was provided by Sprint for my review. I did receive compensation in exchange for my review. All opinions are of my own and may differ from yours.
