Banana, Peanut Butter and Honey Bread

This Banana, Peanut Butter and Honey recipe will help energize your day. All of us can always use an extra boost of energy in the morning, or any time of the day.

They make for the perfect quick snack, eat them dry or spread some peanut butter on toast for an easy boost of energy.

Peanuts and peanut butter provide lasting energy and are a smart addition to your diet any time of the day. It's also an affordable source of protein and really convenient--you can take a pack with you or stir peanut butter in a smoothie or your oatmeal.


Makes 3 loaves

Ingredients:

  • 7 medium sized very ripe bananas
  • 1/4 oz. Lemon juice
  • 3 cups Flower
  • 1 tsp. Baking powder
  • 2 tsp. Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 3 cups Sugar 
  • 3 Eggs 
  • 7 oz. Oil
  • 8 tbsp. (1/2 cup) Peanut Butter
  • 2 tbsp. Honey


Instructions:

  • Puree bananas, Peanut Butter, Honey & lemon juice together
  • Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt
  • Combine the sugar, banana puree, eggs, oil and mix on medium speed until blended
  • Add dry ingredients and mix until combined. 
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 55 minutes
Optional: Drizzle with honey
