Princess Elsa Hair Tutorial

{This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with JOHNSON’S NO MORE TANGLES and Latina Bloggers Connect.}

It's Back-to-School time and who wouldn't want to show up on their first day of school with a Princess Elsa hairstyle from the movie Frozen? I know I would! and I just might! With all of the adorable back to school outfits Emma lee will be wearing to school we also needed some adorable hairstyle ideas. After recently watching one of our favorite movies many times this summer, I was inspired! .... obviously. I'm no hairstylist by any means but this hairstyle was too easy and adorable not to give it a try.

This Rope Braid is incredibly easy and quick for those mornings when you need to get out of the house promptly. I can not do a french braid but this rope braid gives a very clean and neat look like a french braid just much easier. Doing a rope braid along with a side part gives you many options for the overall look. You can create a neat bun or put it in a funky side ponytail or a in a pretty side braid.

To keep Emma lee's hair soft, tangle-free and healthy, We use a three-step regimen for maintaining healthy-looking and nourished hair.
  • Step 1: JOHNSON’S NO MORE TANGLES Shampoo & Conditioner leaves hair beautiful and easy to manage. Paraben-free,phthalate-free and triclosan-free.
  • Step 2: JOHNSON’S NO MORE TANGLES Leave In Conditioner controls wild frizz and tangles for silky, shiny hair. Conditioners help her hair stay smooth and strong to help prevent breakage.
  • Step 3: JOHNSON’S NO MORE TANGLES Detangling Spray instantly unlocks stubborn knots in wet or dry hair. Helps to lubricate hair,helping it stay strong so it will break less.

After I washed her hair I used JOHNSON’S NO MORE TANGLES Detangling Spray and JOHNSON’S NO MORE TANGLES Leave In Conditioner to keep her hair smooth and tangle free.
  • Step 1: Part hair to one side
  • Step 2: Starting from the end of the part at the top, you're going to make your way towards her ear creating what I call a C until you reach the bottom.
  • Step 3: The rope braid. Split the hair into 2 sections.
  • Step 4: Wrap both sections of the hair around each other creating a little twist.
  • Step 5: You're going to work your way down and grabbing sections of hair as you go, adding it to your braid as you go down, similar to a french braid.
  • Step 6: Once you reach the bottom, use a hair tie to secure.
  • Step 7: Brush the remaining hair over to your rope braid and secure with a hair tie.
  • Step 8: Twist hair into a bun and secure with hair pins. Or you can leave it in a side ponytail Or do a side braid.
