  1. The first gadget I ever owned was a transistor radio. I loved putting it under my pillow at night to listen to my own music!

  6. My sister gave me a record player that only played 45's. I was thrilled and had so much fun with it. I loved music but my father would not let us listen to the radio. I bought some music I knew he liked so he let us use it.

  8. I was given a great Swiss Army knife for my birthday as a kid. I was as impressed with just owning a knife as I was with all the other extensions.

  11. I was going to write about my first cell phone, but the first gadget I owned was a juke box record player that was as tall as I was, played 45s and had all these lights that flashed all over it. I think it was called Jukebox Jamboree, it was the most awesome Christmas present ever!!
