Planes Fire & Rescue {With DVD Giveaway}

The other day the kid's and I snuggled up on the couch and watched Disney’s Planes Fire & Rescue Blu-ray, a movie that celebrates our everyday heroes. I've recently realized that I have a few awesome everyday hero's of my own. Not all hero's come in XL sizes or with super duper powers, they come in all shapes and sizes. Everyday hero's can be your abuela, friends, tia's & tio's and even your very own children. Many are there to help you when you need it and others unknowingly inspire you to accomplish great things in your life. Also people like teachers, fire fighters, police officers, nurses and everyday folks in our communities often go unnoticed for their small heroic acts.


In the recent months I've had some major life event occur and it opened my eyes to who my hero's are. Over the summer I watched my Tia battle Leukemia, watching her fight cancer everyday and still remain positive was truly inspiring and motivating. Having my best friend there to speak opening with about my recent split from the father of my children, gave me the strength to know that it's all going to be okay. My kid's inspire me to be a better person with the love they express to me everyday. All these people and more are my hero's. Hero's don't only rescue you from bad situations but they also inspire you to overcome your unfortunate situations.
